DAY FOUR:

Another day of good winds and good sailing. We had another great start! We had good crew work and good times. We hoisted the big chute only to find a bad wrap in it. We dropped it quickly, unwrapped and re-hoisted it while still managing to have a good mark rounding. It was very fun to see other boats in our class behind us! A nice downwind finish and it was time to head back to the dock.
We cleaned up and headed for the beach party/awards dinner (after cocktails aboard Younger Girl). The feast was good, the music as well… thanks to Philo and his band. And the best part was receiving the 1st place award for the boat parade!
Mark and Debbie were wonderful hosts and Mike and I really enjoyed racing aboard Younger Girl.
